A mother started Angel Bears of Love after losing her child, Christine, to a rare type of childhood cancer called neuroblastoma.
Her child, like many others fighting a life-threatening disease, was searching for comfort in a very desperate and painful time in her life. Although Christine's parents were with her through her treatments, tests and tough living conditions, many children have both parents working full-time and are unfortunately left alone by themselves.
Our Mission
The mission of Angel Bears of Love is to give the gift of love to kids with cancer or life-threatening diseases. The vision of Angel Bears of Love is that the bears are to be given to patients at the time of admission and carried throughout their battle with the life-threatening disease so that they feel they are not alone.
“Only by giving are you able to receive more than you already have.”
